Services Description

Pearl-vale provides guided photographic walking tours in the historic districts of Quebec City, Canada. Our services include:

• Scheduled group walking tours with professional photography guides
• Access to photographic locations and viewpoints
• Technical guidance and instruction during tours
• Local knowledge and historical context

Booking and Payment

Reservations

Tour bookings are subject to availability. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a confirmed reservation. We will confirm your booking via email once we have verified availability.

Payment Terms

A deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the tour. Accepted payment methods will be communicated in your booking confirmation.

Pricing

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to change. The price confirmed in your booking confirmation is the price you will pay.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by Customer

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled tour: Full refund of deposit
• Cancellations made 24-48 hours before the scheduled tour: 50% refund of deposit
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled tour: No refund

Cancellation by Pearl-vale

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to weather conditions, insufficient bookings, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Participant Responsibilities

By booking a tour, you agree to:

• Arrive at the designated meeting point on time
• Bring appropriate equipment, clothing, and footwear
• Follow the guide's instructions and safety recommendations
• Respect the historic sites and local regulations
• Not engage in disruptive or inappropriate behavior

Physical Requirements

Our tours involve walking on cobblestone streets, uneven surfaces, and potentially steep inclines. Participants should have a moderate level of physical fitness. If you have any health concerns, please contact us before booking.

Weather Conditions

Tours operate in various weather conditions. We will contact you if conditions are deemed unsafe. It is your responsibility to dress appropriately for the forecasted weather.

Photography and Equipment

Participants are responsible for their own photography equipment. Pearl-vale is not liable for loss, damage, or theft of equipment during tours. We recommend carrying insurance for valuable equipment.

Liability and Assumption of Risk

Participation in walking tours involves inherent risks. By booking a tour, you acknowledge and assume these risks. Pearl-vale and its guides are not liable for:

• Personal injury or accidents during tours
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Failure to capture desired photographs
• Delays or disruptions beyond our control

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Pearl-vale or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose
• Harass or harm other participants or guides
• Interfere with the operation of our services
• Reproduce or distribute our content without permission

Minors

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who accepts full responsibility for their participation.

Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.

Photography of Participants

Our guides may take photographs during tours for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.

Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify tour routes, schedules, or content based on weather, safety concerns, or other factors. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the quality of the experience.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and Canada. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of courts located in Quebec City, Quebec.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
